I ordered t shirt from ebtm.com last Thursday the 17th just wondering how long takes for them to deliver?

Posted by admin on March 3, 2010

I live in ireland so know will take a little longer

I bought something on ebtm and it took about a week to dispatch and then the day after it came. All you need to do is check any emails to see if its been dispatched. And then you know it will come in the post. Make sure someone is at home too as you will need to sign for your parcel.

How do you add designs to the BACK of a t-shirt on cafepress.com?

Posted by admin on March 1, 2010

it wont let me and i have to add a design to my t-shirt additionally, to the back…it wouldnt be the same without the back part.

Only certain shirts allow back designs.
go to Sections/Products
Check all items
Add/Change Image

it will now show you all of the items in that section with checkboxes to select which ones you want to change the image on. The ones that allow a back image will also have another check box for back image. Check the ones you want to update, select the image, and save.

The changes should be instant.

A Christmas Thank You From Tom Bachur Motorcycle Column Writer

Posted by admin on December 26, 2009

A Present to My Readers! (AP Photo/Scholastic Inc.)

On May 12, 2009, I published my first article as your Baltimore Motorcycle Travel Examiner: “Hey Baltimore, Welcome to the Ride!”  Since then, I’ve published 81 other articles that have been viewed over 75,000 times!

Writing this column has been a wonderful experience for me.  I’ve corresponded with a lot of good people and I’ve made quite a few new friends.  John and Monica Tartufo introduced me to Steve Wallach and ETA Travel’s Motorcycle Cruises.  These good folks inspired an entire series of articles, including “Motorcycle Cruises, Take Your Motorcycle on a Caribbean Cruise” and “ETA Travel and the History of Motorcycle Cruising.”  A fellow RiderCoach told me about the Ephrata First Sunday Breakfast, where I met Merv Hill, a great guy and the President of the Ephrata American Legion Post #429.  Grant Parsons, editor of American Motorcyclist Magazine and his assistant, Nora McDonald read, enjoyed and reprinted my daughter Lauren’s article “Freedom, You’re the Passenger” in their magazine.  I will forever be grateful for the confidence they helped instill in Lauren!  Michael D’Elia of BikerHiWay and Vance Lane of Time Rider, Shtuff for Bikers have been instrumental in providing test products for several articles.  I’ve also had a lot of support from other Motorcycle Examiner’s, including: Mark Poesch, the DC Motorcycle Travel Examiner, Patty Davis, the National Motorcycle Travel Examiner and Ken Bingenheimer, the National Motorcycle Examiner.

However, mostly, I’d like to thank you, my readers.  Without you, my work would have no purpose.  Your feedback, comments and loyalty truly make my efforts worthwhile.

As a small token of my appreciation, I’ve teamed with Vance Lane of theTime Rider, Shtuff for Bikers” website to provide my readers 15% off the price of any products on the Time Rider website!  This discount is valid for the remainder of 2009.  To receive the discount, use the Coupon Code “BaltoMCTvlr” when checking out on the Time Rider site.  Thanks to Vance for his generosity and thanks again to you, my loyal readers.

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

How do you go about starting a t-shirt making company?

Posted by admin on November 15, 2009

I have my own designs but need artists to perfect my thoughts and i need to know how exactly to start; Whats the best printing companys to go with quality and price? How much is reasonable ? Just an overall push in the right direction.

Artists… Art school of course. Check local art schools or design schools and such. Put up an ad, that says "need art student to help me perfect some T-shirt designs. You will need to sign NDA, but you can use design later in your portfolio with shared credit. Pay will be little. If interested, call XXX-XXXX" Then maybe offer $25 per hour of time spent, plus a couple free T-shirts. Make sure you have a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for them to sign if they do come.

Shirt-maker/printer company is a different problem. If you just want proof of concept you can buy those T-shirt-maker iron-on sheets and print them yourself as a one or two-off. Else, I’d actually go to places that sell a lot of these printed T-shirts and see where THEY get them from.

And finally… I assume you actually *have* a market for these shirts? And you really have copyright, trademark, and such issues squared? Did a lawyer (or at least a paralegal) go over any contracts or forms that you have, unless it’s standard boilerplate stuff?

You really *should* buy one of those "how to start your own business" books by Nolo Press and make sure all the issues, requirements, and such are done. Would have for you to be busted later if you *did* forget something.

What to write on a t shirt for a concert?

Posted by admin on November 4, 2009

My sister and I are going to a Demi Lovato/ David Archuleta concert and we are trying to think of things to write on t shirts. Any suggestions?

Just write I’m In La-La Land or something related to your favorite song of theirs
