This year (sophomore), new students came to my class. One of them is a stubborn self-centered drama queen that can be considered an extremist because she is just so darn stubborn. She’s been the spotlight for her whole life, rich spoiled and extremely popular.

At first, I pushed her in the group, and she fit in immediately. Of course, everyone started following her. She acknowledges that she is self centered, and is very very proud of that fact. She also tries to make everything her way, including conversations and even class assignments. For example, she tells people what to dress, how to wear, and heck we believed her immediately because she is such a darn good speaker that she always sounded right and truthful(even if she knows she is wrong she will stick up to that fact.).

And then after months, I realized I’ve just become a pushover. She would take my occupied seat when I’m standing(which I find very rude), make me do all sorts of ‘jobs’ for her as a favor as a friend, copy my homework, and copy my notes. I understand that as a friend I should be helping her homework but somehow I think she is the one clinging on to me because she cannot get her work done from all the procrastination she makes and facebooking late at night because she "doesn’t feel like doing homework". She would want her name on a group T shirt even though every one else doesn’t, and will completely reject me if I pointed out how unfair that is. I don’t feel that she is my friend any more, and every time I reject doing the many ‘favors’ she wants me to do, she would be very upset and befriend my close friend and call each other ‘BFF’ because apparently they are real friends and I am not. She has taken my close friend from me and spoiled that friend, so all I have is her. Her. Her. Her. Her. Her. Everything is about HER.

And I will be very very alone. Just because I believe she is wrong. Just because I stood up for my own opinion. Just because I am the only one standing for reasoning among all the other sheep.

How can I deal with such a self-centered b*tch?
How can I deal with friend who wouldn’t stop using me and then throwing me away?

Oh, gosh. well, I know I’ve gone through SOME of that trouble in my life…That’s a hard one. First of all, I didn’t even know someone as self centered & repulsive existed? Nice. Well, all I can really say, is that you need to get yourself as far away from this girl as you can. She is obviously a bad influence to be around(not to sound like a parent or anything). But, you shouldn’t do this immediately. You should slowly separate yourself from her in a way that doesn’t make her really notice. Slowly start to show less interest, or to stop replying to her, or even to stop following her(if that’s what you do). I’m guessing it’s summer for you now(or soon)? If so, this will help A LOT. The couple of months of not having to be at school & around the people you don’t want to be by. And for your once close friend, if that’s the kind of person she wants to be BFFs with, she’s obviously somewhat like her. And you deserve better that that. This may sound hard, but you should really find another crowd to hang around, or you’re gonna be miserable the rest of your highschool career. :\ I hope this helped somewhat!

How Do People Get T-shirts made for their Youtube Channel?

I was wondering how people get t-shirts made for their youtube channel. Like for example Fred has his own t-shirts. I wanted to know how to do that for my youtube. P.S. Basically I want to create a t-shirt and sell them on a website how do I do that?

Fred has 1,500,000+ subscribers. He has made it to a point where he gets paid to promote things like Zipit. He was on iCarly. He has shirts made, and stores chose to buy them because he is popular and they know customers will buy them.

Why are people offended by the sight of a shirtless guy nowadays? People didn’t used to be offended by it.?

I grew up in a neighborhood (and a different era, apparently) when shirts were definitely optional for guys in the summer. The general feeling was: if it’s cold, put a shirt on. If not, you don’t need one. Nobody even thought twice about it. Of course we always put shirts on if we had to go into a store, or a library or something— but for just normal everyday activities, walking down the street or mowing the lawn or whatever, it seemed kind of ridiculous to always be covered up. This was true of kids and most adults up to a certain age. 80-year-old men didn’t walk around shirtless, but younger adults were fine with it, and boys almost never wore a shirt from June through August).

But now, everybody seems freaked out by it. Why? I saw a YouTube video of some guy playing the guitar. He was shirtless, and probably half the comments mentioned that— most of them in a negative way. People were saying: "you play guitar fine, but put a freakin’ shirt on." Heck, I barely even noticed it; I was listening to the music. But a lot of people saw only the fact that he wasn’t wearing a shirt, and they reacted not only negatively, but almost hostile.

I went to an outdoor graduation party three weeks ago, when it was 85 degrees outside and they had a dunk tank— and NONE of the guys going in the dunk tank (there must have been 20 of them altogether, from little kids to adults in their 40s) took off his shirt. This just amazed me, because when I was kid thirty years ago, they would have been considered slightly odd for being so obsessively covered up. Who wants to walk around in a wet shirt when it’s hot outside? One kid, who was maybe 12, asked his mom if he could take off his shirt, and she said "No! You know that would be rude!" I don’t understand the rude factor at all. If it’s over 80 degrees out, and people are getting wet, it seems stupid to keep a shirt on.

But can somebody explain to me why or how times have changed? If it’s a sexual-modesty thing, give me a break. We have one of the highest rates of teen pregnancy in the world, so it seems to me that a lot of kids— and older people too— are taking off quite a bit more than just their shirts.

Well… it may have been acceptable to people in your particular area, but it’s never been proper for any gentlemen to wander about in public shirtless, and that hasn’t changed. Mowing the grass, sure, though we’d rather not see it.

What has also changed is expanding waistlines and a general disinterest in seeing everybody’s bare torso while driving down the street.

Being threatened for wearing a gay rights t-shirt?

I live in a conservative Christian town. Though I am an atheist I respect their beliefs and I don’t force my opinions onto them. However, I support gay rights. So I bought a t-shirt just for the heck of it. Well, I wore it to my high school’s early orientation and I have never been threatened so much in my life. My fellow classmates were yelling at me, their mothers were SCREAMING at me claiming I was under the demon powers of the devil. I’m getting threats even when I just go to the post office. Grown adults are actually writing rude religious sayings on my car! On facebook my classmates lecture me on how being gay is unnatural and against the bible. All for wearing a gay rights t-shirt.

My t-shirt had nothing rude written on it. it just said: Support love. with images of a straight couple and gay couples. nothing obsense or anything.

Anyways, what do I do about these people? It’s like their living in the dark age! I don’t want them to follow through on their threats and brand a cross on my back. (Yes, I did get a threat saying they were going to brand a cross on my back.)

I’ve already gone to the police and they said they can’t do anything until something harmful is actually DONE.

I’m not afraid of these people, just afraid of what their religion is telling them to do.

What do I do? Please help.

Well first of all thnx for supporting us!, we love people like you!, well there isnt much to do i mean if you firm about your belief or disbelief i think you should stay and fight for what you believe in, but if you are just a supporter im assuming u live somewhere in Alabama or kentucky or something i think you should move to a bigger city where people are more accepting of atheist and everything you are! but your prolly not an adult huh?, well just keep on fighting if you get an opportunity to sue go for it lool and dont let go your beliefs..

How to ask for something in a letter?

I am writing a letter to Snapple about how much I enjoy there drinks. How can I ask (without being rude) if I can have a piece of merchandise (t-shirt, stuffed animal, etc.) ? My friend wrote to Goldfish and got a t-shirt.

So, your friend wrote a company a compliment and got something, so now you want something for free, to, so you’re writing a disingenuous letter trying to manipulate them into giving you something. Do you think they don’t already deal with a 1000 people like you every day?

You’re asking in etiquette, you realize. We’re not going to tell you have to take advantage of people and try to scam freebies.
