i need some ideas for a t-shirt our class wants to make for our therapy teacher. she’s a woman who would apreciate something funny and witty, but i have’n found a good message for the shirt.

it has to be psychotherapy-related

Is it acceptable for someone to stop contact because u didn’t give them an expensive enough present?
I have a 21 year old friend that I went to school with. I know him averagly well and I introduced him to my best friend a few weeks ago. We decided to meet up again the day before his birthday to have a few drinks. I bought him a t-shirt as a present and my best friend seeing as she barely knew him decided to make him a home made card and buy him a modestly priced present (cost £7). We had a fun time but the next day he told me he was very angry with my best friend. When I asked why he said that the present she had given him was rubbish and that she had dissapointed him by telling him she had got him a present only for it to be "something cheap that she probably got from the train station". He then said it was rude for her to give him such a present. I explained that since she barely knew him and it was not his bday on the day she did not have to give him anything and even a card wud be sufficient. But he said he was too angry to speak to her again. Now I’m sorry but isn’t this just selfish and ungrateful behaviour?

Yes, it sounds like he is being very ungrateful. Considering she barely knew him it was polite of her to get him anything.

I’d like to do it before Christmas. I went to Macy’s and JC Penny’s and found little of note, as well as briefly to Kohl’s. I even braved venturing into Hot Topic and places of the like, but, even if I did like their shirts, they were a mite too expensive. Is there any other place I’m not thinking of? Thanks in advance.

the prices of shirts at hot topic and spencers are about average for what you are looking for unfortunately….even on websites.

I’ve done a lot of research on this and walked the pavement in Downtown LA.

the best options always seem to be through
- Americana Sportswear (www.americanasportswear.com). They have a physical location near the 405/110 interchange. They have a showroom you can visit.
- Imprints Wholesale (www.imprintswholesale) has a location in Denver and Vegas. They will usually ship to SoCal for free.

Both companies usually have good specials. I have seen the very basic basic tees for as low as 65-cents.

im into cutsomizing plain t-shirts – and have recently been buying cheap white ones from asda, but they keep on shrinking and i prefere the longer style where the tee is quite long.
also i think they shrink in the wash cos they are suddenly all too small for me …

so anywhere that sells cheap (under ten pouns – around £3/£4?) that are brightly coloured …?

i am going to primark soon where i heard they sold plain t-shirts but do they have them in stock if i went next week?
like do they always have them or just sometimes?

definitely the above company, they sell them for people to customise. Most t-shirts are under £3.00 if bought in bulk. The best thing about these t-shirts is that they are pre-shrunk and have no brand neck label.

So, my church is having a Christmas play, I’m a dancer, And we were all on a break in our main sanctuary; There was also a band practice going on (all guys) < This is what I don’t get it: We were at the altar sitting for a break
D’s shirt comes up And I said "D, your at the altar, pull your shirt down" and she was all "I know you ain’t back talking to me" (Which made no sense) and she said "Your always showing your butt" and I’m like "No, my butt crack never shows, I have a belt" than K starts laughing. Than, this girl said practice should be over by now, I said "we have two minutes" and I think she was trying to cuss me out, But the music came on, I don’t know why these girls are acting like this now, They didn’t act like this last week

You should write for Cracked Magazine… that’s hilarious! First, you’re in a church… you tell some girl who has her shirt hiked up to pull it down and you compare it to your "plumber’s butt" problem?! In a church no less, then the music comes up and drowns out the swearing?! Too funny!
