i dnt mean biker, see im not like tht, no tatoos, nada like tht. im pretty in the middle kinda girly kinda sporty, i can be in jeans and a t-shirt one day and in a skirt the next. i dnt cuss or anything, im average i guess, except i wanna ride a motorcycle, what does tht say about me and would yu date sumone who does?
Awww, you sound just like me, minus the skirt. I ride a bike AND do martial arts and I have no trouble finding dates. Go and get a bike, it’s a heck of a lot of fun and a great opening to flirt with all the cute biker boys
You won’t be able to wear skirts as often though, for obvious reasons
but it’s so worth it
(BTW, I’m a girl).

For christmas this year they’re making us polo shirt’s at work but we need to think of rude xmas slogans "with a twist" to have printed on the back. For example "You can jingle my balls" lol
"My chestnut are roasting on an open fire"
"I saw your mommy doing Santa Clause underneath the mistletoe last night"
"All I want for Christmas is the charges dropped"
I dunno…thats all I could think of.

Posted under Motorcycle ShirtsWhat color shirts should we wear for our second wedding?
Me and my husband are having a very casual/laid back second wedding Memorial Day weekend of 2011. We’re heading to the mountains. We are going to wear dark wash Levis jeans, matching belts, and shoes. The shirts we’re going to buy will be button down.
These are the colors we like/considering:
1: Royal Purple
2: Emerald Green
3: Navy Blue
4: White
So I’m just asking what color we should wear. Please no rude answers, thank you.
white

Where can I find a cute leather/motorcycle jacket?
I really love leather jackets, and I want a more fitted feminine one to wear with dresses or skinny jeans and a cute shirt. I’m going for one under $60, but I can save up $100 dollars if I need to. Link appreciated!!
Faux leather btw please!!
i saw some at Walmart, so of course they arent going to be that expensive. They actually were really cute and form fitting, the color was black. If I were skinnier I’d probably buy one!
What constitutes a "biker"?
*A little disclaimer beforehand… I’ve had my Class M since I was 17, and have been riding for about 20 years. I’ve ridden everything from HD’s to Triumphs. I didn’t ask this to get the ol’ "HD vs the world" argument going.
—————–
Yesterday, a buddy of mine were sitting after a ride and discussing this question: "What constitutes a biker?" Is the term "biker" different than "motorcyclist"? Is it based on lifestyle, ride choice, dedication to the lifestyle, etc.?
His answer was that "someone who rides 10K or more miles in a year is a ‘biker’, someone else is just a ‘hobbyist’…"
We both agreed that brand loyalty, clothing, tattoos, etc. are not part of the equation and should not be part of the definition.
Just curious to what others think…
Bart barthole – No, it isn’t as simple as that. Sorry. Hence the question.
Molitor– ya know, that ain’t bad. Nice angle.
Scooter – I have my own notions as to what a biker is (and I agree with most of your historical breakdown… nice, BTW). Just curious as to what everyone else’s was.
I’ve put well over 100K miles on an assortment of bikes. I also have an Iron Butt patch (well, two actually).
Boy, you know if you asked this 30 years ago, I could give you a black and white answer. Now a days I can’t, everything is gray.
In the 50′s and 60′s, thanks to the AMA. Being a biker, was to be a club rider. Not just the 1% clubs, but in a club, you had to earn your way in. This was the image, that was created. In the early days, no one was a biker, everyone was a poser.
In the 60′s and 70′s what being a biker was, evolved. Moving to the outlaw club model, of what a biker was. It was also during this time, that a truer biker was born. I do mean that too, the 1st generation of bikers. Were now giving birth to the 2nd generation, of bikers. It is this 2nd generation of bikers, that are the true bikers. You no longer had to be in a club, to be a biker. True most bikers were in a club, but now, a true lone wolf, biker was out there. Being a biker, was a lifestyle, you were born to be.
In the 80′s and 90′s the 3rd generation of biker evolved. Fewer true, bikers became club riders. As some, of the clubs, moved away from motorcycles and more toward money. It is also then, thanks to Harley and others. That the biker image, from the 2nd generation biker. It was cleaned up and became, a image of a "true American". A person, of freedom from the daily grind. Being a biker, became popular.
It’s much the same today, as in the 90′s. Being a biker is a image now, than the true lifestyle that it is. I can tell with in a few minutes, if a person is a biker or not. A biker and a motorcyclist are not, the same. A biker is born, it’s in his gene’s. A motorcyclist, just rides a bike. A biker, is a biker 24/7, even without a bike to ride. A motorcyclist, looks at riding as a sport. To a biker, riding is both everything and nothing.
It is more than, that of coarse. Being a biker, is more than the brand you ride. your clothing and tattoos. But all that stuff, is apart of being a biker to. Remember only about 5%, of people who ride are bikers. About 20% to 30% or more look like bikers. Thank, Harley for that. Plus, look at all the fans out there. Hey, I don’t dress like this to be a fashion statement.
Oh by the way, if you have to ask. What is a biker, chances are your not. I tried, but if you don’t understand. Well you know the rest.
Posted under Biker ClothesWhat equipment should i have(motorcycle)?
I think of buying a motorcycle (ninja 250r). I will also use it to go to school and i wanted to know what equipment should i wear while using it to go to the school (I have a school uniform which is a shirt or polo and pants like suit pants). So what should i wear to go to school???
If you are talking about safety gear for riding the motorcycle, this question has been answered more ways and times than I care to count-Snell certified Helmet, long sleeved jacket-cordura with pads or leather, long pants, gloves, and waterproof boots-hey you never know when you will run thru rain.
Gear brands are your choice, quality helmets with Snell approval will run $75 on up. Cordura jackets are around $175 on up and decent boots will be about $200 gloves will run 30-50/pair.
Take your states MSF program and enjoy. welcome to the world of motorcycling.
